Joschka Braun

After starting to study mathematics at university at age 14, I published my first paper in the highest-ranked number theory journal at age 17. My academic journey with math stopped after a M.Sc. from NYU as a Fulbright scholar. Noticing AI has more real world applications than math, I started researching methods reducing the impact of labeling noise on CNNs applied to medical imaging at Covera Health. During my time at Jina AI, I built multi-modal information retrieval systems and automatic code generation software. Experiencing the pain of iterating on LLM apps built on gpt-3.5-turbo-0301 and gpt-4-0314, I co-founded Parea AI which was funded by Y Combinator. These days I'm leading ML at Tennr to help automate administrative workflows in healthcare.
