Joschka Braun

I published my first paper in the highest-ranked number theory journal at age 17 and continued to pursue math until my M.Sc. from NYU as a Fulbright scholar. Noticing AI has more real world applications than math, I started researching methods to reduce the impact of labeling noise when applying CNNs to medical imaging at Covera Health. During my temporary stay in Berlin, I built multi-modal information retrieval systems and automatic code generation software at Jina AI. Experiencing the pain of iterating on LLM applications built on gpt-3.5-turbo-0301 and gpt-4-0314, I co-founded Parea AI which was funded by Y Combinator. These days I'm leading ML at Tennr to automate administrative workflows in healthcare.
